So... With the escalating prices for a Roland TB-303 it seems that my "White whale" is never going to happen.
And by white whale I mean of course a object that is highly sought after, but is sort of out of reach.
I could save up for one, but prices around $2500.... for a monophonic bass synthesizer....? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the acid!
I bought a Analogic Cyclonic TT-303 a couple of years ago. It certanly looks the part and it does sound good. I'm gonna put my chin out and say it sounds better than the Avidlabs Bassline that I tried...

Stumbled upon his website and it turns out that the guy behind the site, Paul Barker, an englishman living in Sweden, has reverse engineered an TB-303 and sells PCB's and instructoins to how you can build your own RE-303, which is by all means an TB-303, only that Roland hasn't build it.
The german guy behind Sonic Poitions that brougth the LXR, an seven voice FM based DIY drum machine, has made an new CPU for the RE-303.
